| First, let me tell you a little bit about New York. New York State that is. New York is 54,560 sq miles. Out of that area, 47,213.79 is land area, ranking it as number thirty in the United States for land area and number seven in the United States for water area. It happens to be number seven for population as well. The thing is, when most people hear New York they think New York City, but there's lots more to New York than just New York City, as you can see from the land and water areas.
Extended exposure to artificial light disrupts the natural rhythm of serotonin melatonin production that we evolved over millennia of living on earth. Melatonin is inhibited by light and brought on by darkness, so the longer you stay up, the lower your melatonin production will be, and that going to have some negative consequences on your mental and physical health. Research suggests that premature aging is related to low melatonin levels during sleep. Melatonin is involved in learning and memory and may be an effective treatment for Alzheimer disease. It is a powerful antioxidant able to protect DNA from free radical damage and may prevent the development of some forms of cancer. A gloomy example can be seen in night shift workers. Recent studies show that their disrupted circadian rhythms and low melatonin levels puts them at an increased risk of developing cancer. If you a night shift worker, try to offset your diurnal tendencies by adopting a strict diet and exercise plan. If possible, negotiate a way to work the day shift every other month.

ON THE WAY BACK TO SANTIAGOOn 20th July, I took the flight for Puerto Montt but due to bad weather, it was diverted to a nearby town of Valdivia. It was a blessing in disguise as I had landed in a city of five rivers. My next two days were well spent in browsing river side markets and boat cruises.

Preferred setup sites are those that offer thick cover for human concealment without the obstruction of too many over head trees and limbs. I have hunted a roost in my state that numbers over 100,000 crows. Through my homework I know exactly where they roost. With definite known flyways I know exactly where to setup, about 1/2 mile plus away from the roost. My choice for this scenario is the thick undercover where I can normally put a large tree between me and the incoming birds, because they cannot see me til its too late and it hides my movement. A good morning hunt for me in this area means about a 100 crows won't be coming home tonight. Sometimes semi open fields can be great setup sites if they are on a flyway.
For starters, the scenery and surrounding environment, not to mention the six mountains, are incredibly beautiful, and simply taking one of the many tours that are offered by the lodges in the area is a great way to spend a day. However, one can also go cross country skiing or enjoy some ice skating at one of the lodges. Also, there are a lot of locations to go snowmobiling, and there are a variety of excellent places to eat and dine while at the lodges. One has not experienced Sugarbush until they have had a dinner at a genuine Vermont restaurant, the food is like nothing else, and eating in one of the cottage like restaurant settings is an experience beyond compare, it is one of the most enjoyable aspects of the vacation if one happens to enjoy dining out. However, the more upscale lodging offers full kitchens if one would prefer to prepare their own food instead of eating out.
