I totally agree, I'm not advocating living in a cabin in the woods, or keeping your children locked indoors their entire life. My point was that we can better direct our children (most easily by homeschooling, but otherwise also) into social situations with people who better fit the value systems we wish to instill. By all means, make sure socializing is involved in your child's life, but get them together with the people that you WANT them to emulate..
