| Although it may seem too soon to be thinking about it, the unfortunate truth is that winter is right around the corner. Depending on where you live, this could mean that you will receive high amounts of snow and or ice this winter. Though we did not receive any snow or ice storms last year that were major enough to cause power outages, I know that other areas were unfortunate enough to experience winter power outages. The two years before last year, our area experienced power outages that lasted for about two weeks at a time. The worst thing about a winter power outage is the fact that there is really not much that you can do about it once it has happened. Taking steps to prepare yourself for a winter power outage is just about the only thing that you can do. Here, we will take a closer look at some of the things that you can do in order to prepare for power outages this winter. Be Prepared For Winter Power Outages With Lots of Water

A lot of preschool students may feel a little sad when the winter comes because they may not be able to do a lot of what they can do in the summer such as swimming outside. You can showcase all of the fun things that you may be able to do in the winter (depending on where you live) such as playing in the snow, ice skating or going sledding. You can show photographs. If you want to get the kids involved then you can ask for them to draw pictures of what they love to do in the winter, and you can post those up as part of your bulletin board.
