During the winter months, our lips tend to rebel by becoming dry and chapped. I personally find this very uncomfortable, and unless I religiously care for my lips, they will become painful, chapped and prone to cracking and bleeding. It is not a pretty sight. Now, since I want to keep my lips healthy and moisturized, I combine this with protecting them from the winter sun too. I use an SPF 15 lip balm. I apply it first before any lip gloss or lipstick. Throughout the day as I need touchups, I continue to apply my SPF lip balm and then any lip color I am wearing that day.

Students receive individualized, intense interventions that target skill deficits. Students not achieving the desired level of progress are referred for comprehensive evaluations and considered for special education services through the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 (IDEA 2004). IDEA 2004 allows parents to request a formal evaluation at any time during the RtI process.
