| In this day and age, it doesn make sense to post threats on any social media sites, especially if you talking about murdering your classmates. Given the inexplicably large number of school shootings the world has experienced over the past few years, engaging in this sort of ignorant, antisocial behavior will likely land you in serious trouble. Even if you just joking about gunning down the people you dislike, the climate just isn right for this sort of misguided humor.

Literature courses often also consider how a work fits into the context of other works of its time. Comparing what Martin did in GoT and the later books with the standard tropes that were running wild through the genre in the eighties and mid nineties and considering how works like and including his have led to a huge change in the direction of the genre is certainly something worth considering. Given some of the standard tropes that were rampant in older fantasy and still pop up today, you can even look at how GRRM treats gender roles in the books, or how he writes about monarchy, empires, colonialism, and the powerless.

Try before you buy: I own a used Rans Tailwind and I commute on it, but it's a hassle to make normal bike parts, like pannier racks, fit on them.
